Juliet, TN.  We want to get to know who you are, what you enjoy doing, and what you want most from your skincare results: a personalized experience that is often missed with most skincare services. Dermaplaning FAQs

  • It is a cosmetic treatment that uses a surgical-grade medical scalpel to gently remove dead skin cells from the outer layer of skin. It removes the fine facial hair commonly known as “peach fuzz” or vellus hair. We can use it as an alternative to laser treatments or in conjunction with such treatments for even better results. You get more radiant, vibrant skin. Enjoy having an easier time applying makeup and your other skincare products with enhanced skin smoothness. Watch your skin get even healthier as treatments penetrate deeper into the skin without that blocking layer of dead skin getting in the way.

  • Dermaplaning takes anywhere between 20-30 minutes and can be performed every 3-4 weeks. The treatment itself removes approximately 21 days worth of dead skin so it is important to let your skin rejuvenate before your next appointment.

  • No, it does not. This is because there are different hairs that grow on the body. The fine, light hairs on that face removed by the treatment are vellus hairs, which grow back at the same rate and texture.
